About Roy
Roy is a professional fortune-teller with Hong Kong and Thai heritage. He travels between Hong Kong and London, where he is pursuing studies in astrology and Buddhist philosophy.
Roy graduated from Hong Kong Baptist University with a Bachelor's degree in General Studies and Cultural Studies. In 2017, he became a professional astrologer. He served as a resident astrologer in various venues in Hong Kong, including bars, studios, events, and markets. In 2020, he was invited to participate in Hong Kong's first-ever cross-cultural fortune-telling and blessing market, where he provided astrology services to the public in Wong Tai Sin. In 2021, he officially established his studio, Poker Divine, where he helps people solve problems and dilemmas. He has also launched another series,“Loi’s General Store," which offers curated products worldwide, specialising in custom-made crystals. His services have gained popularity among artists and professionals from various industries.
Roy has traveled to India and Nepal to study singing bowls and meditation under the guidance of monks. In Hong Kong, he has studied Zen Buddhism and the use of various musical instruments with a musician named Hei Gwai. He has also participated in creative works related to meditation and singing bowls, such as "Insight" in 2020, "Circle" in 2021, and “Up-side down" in 2022.
Furthermore, Roy has completed a "Mental Health First Aid Certificate" issued by the Hong Kong Mental Health Association and an "Art Therapy Certificate" issued by St. James' Settlement. He has also worked as part of the audience support team for "Jockey Club Joyful World" at the Hong Kong Arts Centre, demonstrating his concern for the mental well-being of the people in Hong Kong.
